Understanding the Zi Wei Dou Shu Stars’ attributes and the relationship of a star’s position and applying technical methodologies and formulas can accurately determine your real character. Additionally, it reveals hidden challenges and helps to forecast success.

Stars, constellations, timing, and their analysis play a crucial role in astrology, whether it is Vedic, Chinese, Japanese, or Western astrology. Similarly, Zi Wei Dou Shu is no different. Indeed, it’s a traditional Chinese system of Destiny Science that originated from an ancient study of the star’s constellation system.

The secret in Zi Wei Dou Shu is that it uses “virtual stars” and not actual or real stars and constellations like other astrology types. Consequently, this is where the high accuracy of a ZWDS reading comes in. At the same time, the real stars come from astronomy.

Zi Wei Dou Shu stars involve precise formulas and calculations. Remarkably, its virtual stars maintain analytic accuracy despite shifts in actual celestial bodies over thousands of years.

Do more zi wei dou shu stars mean greater accuracy?

Not necessarily. You may question this due to the significant difference in the number of stars used in the Triangle Harmony Formation, San He School, versus the Flying Stars Techniques, Si Hua School, in ZWDS Astrology. Consequently, understanding these variations can clarify why different schools emphasize certain methodologies. Furthermore, exploring these differences deepens your comprehension of ZWDS Astrology's diverse approaches.

As discussed in the other Chinese Astrology blogs, I have published, Zi Wei Dou Shu has two leading schools. Specifically, one is the San He School, also known as the Southern School of Zi Wei Dou Shu. This school or lineage uses anywhere from 30 to 108 stars in their analysis.

The Si Hua, or The Flying Star School, also known as the Northern School of Zi Wei Dou Shu, primarily uses 18 stars in their assessment and readings. Specifically, the Flying Stars lineage utilizes the “flying powers” of the Four Enhancers to analyze and decode your Destiny. In contrast, the San He lineage applies Stars groupings in a “Triangle Harmony” formation. Furthermore, it considers the left and right flanking as well as the direct opposite of the zone to form an interpretation.
